The Credit Union of Texas has an interesting history, dating back to 1931 when a group of school teachers from Dallas decided to get a credit union charter. When the credit union was formed, it only had $65 in total assets.

It has since grown significantly and is now one of the top 100 credit unions in the nation in terms of asset size. It serves over 175,000 members, making it a well-trusted Dallas credit union.
